Mandate dates
NACH Debit mandates have some date attributes.
These are the main fields that appear in an NACH Debit mandate.
Date fields
Date of Mandate (only relevant for physical variant) - the date in the top right corner of the physical mandate.
First Collection Date (start date) - the first date on which an ACH Debit transaction can be charged. Must be greater than Date of Mandate.
Final Collection Date (end date) - the final date on which an ACH Debit transaction can be charged. Max 30 years from Date of Mandate.
Processing dates
Acknowledgement Date - the date on which the source input was acknowledged by NPCI Mandate Management System. This is recorded as an acknowledged mandate, with UMRN.
Response Date - the date on which the acknowledged mandate received a response from the destination bank.
