Create sources via API, Import or Forms, and if debtor mobile is included, a short authorisation link is sent to the customer via SMS. The customer clicks on the short link. This page asks for their mobile number (as a password), and the customer is then taken to the long authorisation link to continue the redirect flow.

By default, merchants use our sender ID: LTSPAY
If you want to use your own sender ID, you can do so. There are additional fees for this setup.
Content
By default, the SMS content template is: "[merchant_billing_name] would like you to authorise an eMandate. Reference: [reference1]. Click here to proceed: [link]"
If you want to use your own content template, you can do so. There are additional fees for this setup.
LotusPay Dashboard
You can view SMS service status (enabled/disabled) in Dashboard > Company Settings.
You can view an individual source's SMS delivery and status in the individual source page.
SMS Dashboard
When we first set up your SMS facility, we will create your login for the SMS Dashboard. This is separate to the LotusPay Dashboard. The URL is https://sms.lotuspay.com and the login details are sent to your main admin user. Only one user login can be created. The SMS Dashboard shows you SMS history, status and credit balance.
To view sent messages and delivery status, go to Reports > API Messages.
SMS delivery
There are complex regulations and guidelines regarding sending commercial SMSs in India. SMS entity, sender ID and content template require pre-approval in the SMS DLT (distributed ledger technology) blockchain via a mobile network such as Vodafone, Airtel, Jio etc. and then they need to be mapped to our SMS gateway.
We do not guarantee delivery of SMS, as the gateway, mobile networks and DLT blockchain may block certain mobile numbers or may experience service outages.
We send SMSs in the Service Implicit category.
