The long authorisation link URL leads directly to the authorisation page.
The short authorisation link URL (included only if source debtor_mobile is present) leads to a password page first. If user enters their mobile number, this leads to the long URL page. If your merchant account is activated for SMS feature, we automatically send the short URL to the customer via SMS, otherwise you can send it from your own SMS gateway.
Sources created in the previous quarter (and therefore their authorisation links too) may be withdrawn by LotusPay if they are in pending status at the end of the current quarter e.g. sources created up to 31-Dec-2021 found to be in pending status on 31-Mar-2022 may be withdrawn by LotusPay after 31-Mar-2022.
Although old links may be automatically blocked by us in this way, we strongly recommend you to withdraw pending sources as soon as they are no longer required.
