Create your Juspay Merchant Account

Before you can do anything with Juspay, you will have to get an account created with us. If you have not done this already, please reach out to biz@juspay.in.

Once the account is created Juspay would provide you access to the dashboard using which you can set up your PG configurations, routing logic, creation of users etc. Once you log-in to the dashboard, you will land on our Onboarding Assistant. This tool has a series of steps that needs to be completed for the integration to be successful. Please follow each and every step mentioned on Onboarding Assistant for smooth integration.

Create API Key

An api_key is secret information that helps us to authenticate all your requests to our servers. The API key can be generated from dashboard by going to Settings-->Security-->API Keys-->Create API key (https://analytics.expresscheckout.juspay.in/?navtab=euler_settings)

The api_key is a 32 character alpha numeric string like this: 123XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX4X

The Basic Auth of Base 64 encoded value of API key is used for Authentication. Please refrain from sharing api_key with anyone. Please do not share the same with Juspay over any medium.

Test Payment Flows in Production Environment

To begin, we will provide you with a production account under restricted mode for testing. Although we recognize your preference to have a sandbox environment for testing and launching with complete confidence, we suggest using the provided production environment due to the following factors:

• Our Prod is a Safe Environment: You can configure Test PGs in the Production Dashboard and test all the payment flows as you would do in a Sandbox Environment.

• No Double Effort: Continuing directly on production would help you avoid the effort of doing same configurations on sandbox first and then on production

• 2x Faster Go-live: Merchants integrating directly on production environment achieve faster GTM

• UPI testing unavailable in Sandbox: You will not be able to test UPI Payment Flows in Sandbox Environment

• Restricted Mode:  Moreover the production account provided to you is currently under restricted mode. The number of transactions are capped at 100 txns/day and the maximum value of each transaction is capped at Rs. 10. So there is minimal risk involved in attempting transactions in restricted mode.

We will remove the restricted mode once the integration is completed and you receive a QA signoff from Juspay and we will provide you with a Sandbox Environment as soon as you go-live but as your Payments Partner, we assure you that you will not face any issues with testing in the production environment itself.
