Analytics

Purpose of this Guide

This guide is intended for merchants, developers, and finance teams integrating with Juspay’s Reconciliation & Settlement module. It explains how to use the Analytics & Reporting features to gain actionable insights, identify mismatches, optimize financial processes, and maintain a healthy payment ecosystem.

Why Analytics Matter in Reconciliation

Reconciliation isn’t just about tallying transactions—it’s about building trust, transparency, and control across your payment lifecycle. With multiple parties involved (merchant → payment gateway → bank), discrepancies and delays are inevitable.
That’s where analytics and reporting play a crucial role.”

  • Compare gateways: See which gateway is costing you more in fees

  • Track trends: Monitor fee movement over time to manage costs

5. Summary Table

PG vs. Bank Summary
PG vs. Bank Summary

How It’s Useful:

  • Compares payment gateway reports against actual settlements received in your bank account.

  • Identifies discrepancies where:

    • The PG claims to have settled an amount, but the bank hasn’t received it.

    • The settlement amount in the bank doesn't match the PG report (amount mismatches).
