# Testing the Split Settlement flow




### **Step 4:** Testing & Validation




### Step 1.1. How to test


* Update PG configuration on Juspay Sandbox Dashboard for split settlements support
* Release the changes done at your end to a staging build (app/website)
* Test the flow on your staging build that has the changes, pointed to Juspay Sandbox
* Please verify if the split settlement transaction amount has been credited to both the parent and sub-accounts at the Gateway end as anticipated.



**Test Cases to be completed for sign off :** 

* **Validate split settlement transactions by testing them against all of your business's diverse use cases, including:** 
  
  * Splitting transaction amounts between parent account and sub-accounts.
  * Splitting transaction amounts exclusively between sub-accounts.
  * Splitting transaction amounts between parent account and sub-accounts, while incorporating merchant commissions.
    
    > **Warning**
    > Please ensure the sum of split amounts should be equal to the total transaction amount.
* **Validate the refund flow for successful split settlement transactions by testing them against all of your business's diverse use cases, including:** 
  
  * Refunding transactions between parent account and sub-accounts.
  * Refunding transaction amounts exclusively between sub-accounts.
  * Refunding transaction amounts between parent account and one of the sub-accounts.
    
    > **Warning**
    > Please ensure the split refund amount should be equal to or less than the amount settled for a parent or sub account.
