### **Frequently Asked Questions**

## FAQs:

### Is it possible to split a transaction amount for settlement between two different payment gateways?

No, it is not possible to split the transaction amount for settlement between two different payment gateways, as a transaction can only be routed through one gateway at a time. However, the transaction amount can be split between two accounts onboarded with the same gateway.

### How to split a transaction amount between two different accounts of the same gateway for settlement?

If a transaction amount needs to be split between two different accounts of the same gateway for settlement, one of the accounts must be designated as the parent account, while the other can be added as a sub-account.

The sub-account needs to be configured on the Juspay Dashboard under the Split Settlement section of that gateway where the parent account is already configured.

### What is the maximum number of sub-accounts that can be used for a single split settlement transaction?

There is no limit at the Juspay end. Any number of sub-accounts can be used for a single split settlement transaction, provided they have been onboarded by the payment gateway/aggregator.

### Which payment modes are available for split settlement transactions?

Split settlement transactions can be conducted for all online payment modes such as UPI, Cards, Wallets, Net Banking, and Consumer Finance, excluding COD.

### What changes are required by my PA/PG to enable this feature?

* Your PA/PG partner(s) need to enable support for Split Settlements across the supported payment modes flow for your account.
* Additionally, all sub-accounts or vendor accounts need to be onboarded by your PA/PG partner(s) to use this feature.
