**Payment Locking**  is a powerful feature in Juspay Hypercheckout that allows merchants to control the payment experience by restricting or enabling specific payment instruments on the payment page. This functionality ensures that only preferred or eligible payment methods are available to users, improving security, compliance, and user experience.

**E-commerce Scenario with UPI Payment Only:** 

Merchants with a user base that primarily pays via UPI can use the payment locking feature to simplify the checkout experience by only displaying the UPI option.
