# **Gateway Configuration** 



Merchant can configure their **payment gateway accounts**  on Juspay using this **PG Control Centre**  under Payment module on the [Juspay Dashboard](https://portal.juspay.in/). After procuring credentials from chosen **Gateways** / **Payment Service Provider (PSP)** , merchants need to configure those credentials here to route transactions via Juspay.


### 1. Steps to configure a Gateway.




### Step 1.1 Access the Gateways Module


* Go to **Payments → PG Control Centre → Gateways→ Configure New PG** .
* Select the gateway (aggregator, bank PG, wallet, or alternate payment method) you want to configure from the drop-down list.

### Step 1.2 Select Environment


Choose the environment for the gateway account:

* **Live (Production)**  – for real transactions
* **Sandbox (Test)**  – for testing and integration

> **Warning**
> If the **Live / Production**  environment is enabled for this gateway, any test or real transactions routed through it will result in **actual charges** . Ensure configuration accuracy before enabling or processing payments ⚠️






### Step 1.3 Assign a Gateway Reference ID


When adding **multiple accounts**  for the same PSP (e.g., **Stripe SG**  and **Stripe MY** ), a reference ID helps identify the correct account for **routing** .

* Merchants must pass the correct **gateway reference ID**  in the **respective API**  calls if multiple accounts exist.

### Step 1.4 Enter Gateway Credentials


* Input the credentials obtained from your PSP or acquirer
* Eg.; **API key, secret, merchant ID, client ID, webhook key** , etc. Then click **Proceed** .

### Step 1.5 Review and Save


Review the entered credentials carefully, then click **Confirm and Save Gateway** .

### Step 1.6 Webhook Information


After saving, Configure mention webhook url on the underlying PSP dashboard for transaction status update.

> **Note**
> The “**Configure Webhook** ” option may appear only if supported by the PSP.






### Step 1.7 Payment Method & Currency Configuration


* Select the**Payment Methods**  you want to enable via Juspay such as Cards, FPX (Malaysia), PayNow (Singapore), QRIS (Indonesia), GCash (Philippines), GrabPay, or Dana.

* In the **Payment Method Configurations**  screen, select the **currencies**  you want to enable for this gateway.

> **Note**
> **(Important for SEA merchants):** By default, **INR**  is selected as the primary currency. If you are operating in South East Asia, ensure to **enable your local transaction currencies**  (e.g., **SGD, MYR, PHP, IDR, THB** , etc.) under **Supported Currencies**  to avoid transaction failures or currency mismatch issues.



* Click **Proceed** , then select **Yes, Enable it**  in the confirmation dialog.




### Step 1.8 Configuring Advanced Features

### Step 1.9 Review and Finish


* In the **Summary**  section, review **gateway details**  and **payment methods** .
* Click **Finish**  to complete setup.
* A **success message**  confirms your gateway configuration.

### **2. Steps to Update a Configured Gateway.**

1. From the **Configured Gateways**  list, choose the gateway you want to modify.
2. In the gateway detail view, click on **Edit Gateway Configuration** .
3. Update the **necessary configuration fields**  and **enable or disable payment methods**  as required.
4. Click **Finish**  to apply and save your changes.

### **3. Steps to Enable/Disable and Delete a Gateway.**

1. **Select the Gateway**  you want to enable or disable from the list of gateways.
2. In the **Gateway Summary**  page, click **Settings**  and choose **Enable PG**  or **Disable PG** .
3. A confirmation popup will appear. Click **Yes, Enable it**  or **Yes, Disable it**  to proceed.
4. The gateway status will be updated, and a confirmation message will be displayed.
5. Click **Settings »** Select **Delete Gateway**  ⚠️ » **Confirm**  the deletion
   
   > **Note**
   > Once psp deleted no refund can be processed be careful before opting to delete a gateway configuration. Disabling will anyhow process the refund




## **Important Notes for SEA Merchants** 



> **Note**
> * Ensure your PSP credentials are region-specific (e.g., **Xendit Indonesia** , **Stripe Singapore** , **2C2P Thailand** ).
> * Verify API keys correspond to your **live**  or **sandbox**  environment.
> * Always test gateway integrations using **sandbox mode**  before enabling **live transactions** .
> * Contact **SEA Support**  for help with configuration, credential validation, or account linkage.
