Amazon Pay Balance
How it works
1. Amazonpay Integration using the Amazonpay Gateway
Step 1: The user navigates to the payment page within the merchant app.
Step 2: The Amazon Pay payment option is displayed to the user.
Step 3: The user selects "Amazon Pay" as the payment method.
Scenario 1: For first-time user
The user is shown the Amazon Pay option with a “Link and Pay” button.
The user clicks on the “Link and Pay” button and consents to link their Amazon Pay account by clicking the "Allow" button.
The Amazon Pay account is linked and the user is redirected back to the merchant’s app.
The merchant can display the Amazon Pay balance on the checkout page.
The user selects Amazon Pay and completes the payment without any redirection and the order is placed.
Scenario 2: For Users with an Already Linked Amazon Pay Account
Amazon Pay is shown as a payment option with available balance details.
The user selects "Amazon Pay" as the payment method.
The transaction is completed without any redirection and the order is placed.
If the available balance is less than the order amount, the user will be redirected to the Amazon Pay CCT page, where they can pay the remaining balance using debit/credit cards, UPI or NetBanking payment modes.
2. Amazonpay Integration using the other gateways
Step 1: The user navigates to the payment page within the merchant app.
Step 2: Amazonpay payment option is displayed to users.
Step 3: The user opts for "Amazonpay" as the payment method.
Step 4: The user is redirected to Amazonpay website.
Step 5: The user inputs the OTP sent to their mobile number for verification and consent.
Step 6: Payment is completed, order gets placed and the user is redirected back to the merchant’s app/website.
